University board promises lower travel costs
The three members of the Utrecht University Executive Board promise that this year, they will not spend more than 100,000 euros altogether on travel costs. That amount will have to be brought down in the next few years. Read more

 
UUinActie makes its entry in University Council
In both the student and employee elections, new party UUinActie has succeeded in obtaining a seat in the University Council. De Vrije Student will go from one to two seats. Lijst VUUR loses two of its seven student seats. Read more

 
Highest number of Vidi grants go to Utrecht
Ten UU scientists received good news: they received a Vidi grant worth 800,000 euros. Of all universities, the highest number of grants went to the UU. Read more

The Electoral Women want to entice students to vote with entertainment-filled evening
To lure students to the voting booths, four students started a collective they call The Electoral Women. By means of a show filled with theatre, song, play, and humour, the ladies hope to enthuse other students. Read more
